"I’ve been struggling a bit more than usual with worry the last couple of weeks, so am not able to concentrate well enough to format this more formally."

Hope consideration of this will help along side the praying

Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate is the active form of B6 it is required as a co factor to glutamate decarboxylase to biosynthesize gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) which keeps us calm and level emotionally. I would recommend reading Unbound: A Practical Guide to Deliverance by Neal Lozano, a Catholic. You have the ability through your sacrament of Baptism to name the spirits afflicting you; worry, anxiety, hopelessness, etc., whatever you discern and in the name of Jesus, command them to leave. Then praise God in his Mercy, and give him thanks. It doesn’t replace confession, of course. In fact repentance and firm resolve and statement of Faith needs to come first. You are fighting at a deeper level in the battle than most and the accuser has noticed. We all need to recognize the designs and mechanisms of the adversary in our particular lives. I assume you have a solid spiritual director. Praying for you, Katherine. Psalm 51, and the Lorica of St. Patrick could be recited often.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Eph 6:12

Praying that the full armor of the Lord God shields you from enemy attacks, both internal and external, allowing your mind to rest and restore a sense of Peace and Protection through our Lord Jesus Christ and his Holy armies. Amen
