I had an uncle that served in Korea that received disability from the military related to Multiple Sclerosis. For years I couldn’t understand how MS that showed up in his 40s could be related to his time of service. Now I understand that he may nave been exposed to whatever poison our country was concocting at that time.

Several Marine Corps Gulf War veterans I know suffer from Gastrointestinal disorders.. both received their shots but only one was deployed. The one who served stateside has advanced Crohns disease exacerbated by alcoholism and resulting from the pre-deployment vaccines which he admits. He has no regrets about anything that came from his service and was a handful trying to sponsor for recovery. He taught me about stubborness in accepting help, treatment of military service members and how chronic pain can lead to addiction.

Yep--Vets in all the U.S. Wars have suffered so much ... in gaping silences.
