Penn State student rally against coerced medical treatments planned for Tuesday, August 31 at noon at Old Main
On August 26, I sent a thank you email to Penn State President Eric Barron and Provost Nick Jones:
Thank you for standing strong for individual human rights to informed consent for medical treatment, bodily integrity and moral autonomy to make individualized risk-benefit assessments.
Please continue to protect and uphold these important moral principles for all Penn Staters.

I read over the weekend that a Penn State student counterprotestor was beaten up during a Friday protest of Penn Staters who support university administrators forcing medical treatments such as masking and mRNA/DNA injections on Penn State students and employees against their will and without their consent, under threat of job loss or loss of educational opportunity.
The article noted that the student is part of a group of “Penn State Resistance” students who believe medical treatment decisions — to be legally and ethically sound— should only be made by individuals on their own behalf, based on their own risk-benefit and other informational, ethical and moral assessments, never by third party bystanders; and that medical treatments should only be conducted with the fully informed consent of each individual recipient, never under conditions of fraud, emotional duress, administrative coercion or physical force.
The article mentioned that the group planned an “Unmask Penn State” rally for noon on Tuesday, August 31 at Old Main.
There’s more information about the planned rally at The Collegian.
There’s a list of links to evidence that community-scale masking has no effect on infection control below.
I read recently on Gab that a nationwide student walkout is planned for September 10 but right now I don’t have a link to any more information about that.
I also recently read about the Nevada County (California) Deputy Sheriff’s Association issuing a press release expressing opposition to vaccine mandates and support for principles of medical freedom/autonomy and informed consent for medical treatments.
I sent an email today to Centre County Sheriff Brian Sampsel with the subject line “Please issue a public statement supporting citizen civil liberties and opposing vaccine mandates.”
Dear Sheriff Sampsel,
I recently read about the the Nevada County (California) Deputy Sheriff's Association issuing a press release opposing vaccination mandates.
There are many people in Centre County who are deeply concerned about government and corporate encroachment on citizens' rights to bodily integrity, exercise of moral conscience and rights to informed consent for medical treatment.
Would you be interested in issuing a similar press release expressing support for these legal and ethical principles, and opposing vaccination mandates, from your position as Centre County Sheriff?
Thank you for considering this request.
Tl;dr - Mask mandates are useless for infection control, but excellent for social control and for inflicting social, emotional and physical harm on children and adults alike.
Source: CDC buries study showing student masking has no statistically significant beneft.
Meanwhile, as we've noted a few times in the past week, there are plenty of studies which conclude that masks provide minimal to no protection.
