I hear in Colorado, teachers in some school districts are resuming in-person meetings of clubs and sports teams for students who sign liability waivers and thus indicate their voluntary acceptance of the human risks of communicable disease in exchange for the human benefits of social, educational and athletic activities, within a moral framework that upholds, rather than destroys, human dignity and self-determination.
State College Area School District needs the same policy.

A frightened, subjugated, isolated, homebound populace and broken small businesses are what they love best.
I know this based on the records of what they’ve actually done over the past year.
So I also know the infantilizing authoritarianism will continue.
