Faculty Senate voted 113-31 to call for Penn State mandate of Covid-19 injections
The Onward State report stated:
“Provost Nick Jones said Penn State doesn’t plan on mandating vaccines and is instead mainly focused on incentivizing them and increasing availability.”
I’m grateful for the 31 faculty senate dissenters for casting “No” votes; for all the people who contacted Penn State administrators and faculty senators before the meeting to oppose medical authoritarianism and uphold the principle of informed consent as enshrined in the Nuremberg Code; and for Nick Jones for holding the line against mandates.
Please keep fighting for the right of all human beings to make individual informed decisions about health care, risks and benefits of medical treatment options, and bodily integrity, free from all forms of coercion.
